Talk Synopsis
During the presentation, we will show you how to use the new Disruptive Design method and tools to change your standard business activities. This method stimulates the brain and allows people to reject the status quo. We will show what value sustainable activities can have for your community. We will challenge participants to design their activities in line with the principles of circular economy.
The lecture was held as part of the Design Talks Business Summit block on July 10th, during the Gdynia Design Days festival.
Speaker: Leyla Acaroglu – a sustainability provocateur and cultural protagonist. An award-winning designer, sociologist and entrepreneur. Awarded with the Champion of the Earth title in 2016 by the United Nations Environment Programme in the science and innovation category. She leads presentations around the world on activating positive social change through creative interventions and systems thinking. Her mainstage TED Talk on sustainability has been viewed more than 1 million times. Leyla is the founder of Disrupt Design, the UnSchool and the CO Project Farm in Portugal.
